How do I clean my SmartSilk™ products?
​
When it’s time for a wash, SmartSilk™ products are scientifically tested and proven to be machine washable in cold water and dryable on low. Use the delicate cycle and detergent for delicate fabrics. SmartSilk™ bedding could be removed from the dryer while still slightly damp. The bedding will dry out very quickly because SmartSilk™ does not retain moisture. If placed in the sun, the silk will turn yellow. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Oxyclean can be sprayed on prior to washing. The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America recommends that you wash your SmartSilk™ products every 8 weeks, which is their protocol. Cold water wash is sufficient as the dust mites are not present. Since our products do not take on body odor, washing frequency can be tailored to your own personal preference.
